Nonprofit Donor Recognition: 2025 Benchmark Study on Recognition Practices and Donor Retention Impact
Intent: research Donor recognition represents one of the most critical yet frequently underinvested areas of nonprofit stewardship. While organizations dedicate substantial resources to donor acquisition, recognition practices—the systematic acknowledgment and celebration of philanthropic support—often receive limited strategic attention, inconsistent implementation, and minimal budget allocation despite overwhelming evidence linking recognition quality to retention rates and lifetime giving.
